– The conversations were difficult and tense. We had direct talks with the Pristina side, which is good.

– I and the experts of the Serbian delegation had the opportunity to present everything related to the ideas of the European Union, how to solve the dinar issue, taking into account that Kurti’s unilateral decision to abolish the dinar and the salary change of the Republic of Serbia in the area of Kosovo and Metohija threatened the survival of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and you know that this is an issue that must be resolved urgently because the Serbs are threatened, because the Serbian institutions in the Kosovo and Metohija are threatened, their existence and functioning are called into question.

– This is the sixth meeting in a row. All the time we insist on talking, all the time we insist on meetings, all the time we want to continue the dialogue on this issue in order to find a solution. It shows you how constructive we are and how much we give and do our best.

– I must also say that the latest comments we sent to Mr. Lajčak were done in good faith, they were also evaluated as constructive, they offer solutions. Again, even when you are sitting and talking, all the time Mr. Bisljimi was throwing around, trying to draw different parallels, saying that he is not interested in Serbs who want to leave Kosovo and Metohija, but only in those who want to integrate, which clearly shows that Aljbin Kurti’s policy and Pristina’s expulsion of the Serbian people to Kosovo and Metohija, all that they are doing with the dinar, they are actually doing so that there are no our institutions, that there are no people, that there are no lives of Serbs in the territory of Kosovo.

– If you want to find solutions, we have given so many proposals, so many constructive things. The most normal thing is to sit down and make an agreement. We will continue the talks here on May 13, that’s what we agreed on. I hope that we will achieve some progress as far as possible, it no longer depends on us, we have shown so much constructiveness that it is now clear to everyone that from the first moment the problem was in Pristina, which with its unilateral decision brought us all to this the situation, above all the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija who, on this day, are recording the 500th incident since Kurti came to power, which clearly shows the picture of the state and life of Serbs in the area of Kosovo and Serbs.

– We talked about the ideas of the EU, we tried to improve those proposals with our proposals because the idea was to improve them, for everyone to come up with proposals, solutions, how to speed things up, how to reach an agreement. If on the other side you have Pristina, that is, Mr. Bisljimi, who says what is legal for him, what is not, what is in accordance with the law, what is not, I have repeatedly pointed out that he is not alone there, that there are two sides there, Belgrade and Pristina. And that what is illegal for Pristina is legal for Belgrade and vice versa. Therefore, in your world and imagining how problems are solved, you cannot actually build your own reality that has nothing to do with what is on the ground. On the field there are people, institutions, there is liveliness on the field, on the other side there is Pristina, which does everything unilaterally, the so-called. by the Kosovo police, unilateral moves, abuse of the Kosovo judiciary to make that life difficult, but we heard from Mr. Bisljimi that he is not interested in the fact that those who want to leave Kosovo, if they do not open accounts in Kosovo banks, that they can go freely, he is only interested in those who want to get involved. Why should they integrate? Serbs in Kosovo live in their homes, they live there on their own, their institutions are there. You cannot behave like that and then later they say that we are the ones who want to cause a certain crisis, that we are the ones who are the factor of instability. And actually you see the sixth meeting in a row, that we have said all the constructiveness from our side, and on the other side you have Priština, which is again inventing something, which would like something different again, which sees things only from its own bubble, and this is neither a compromise nor a dialogue, but an attempt imposition of certain solutions that should have the goal of legalizing unilateral decisions. We do not agree to that. We agree to dialogue, to find a solution where we will meet halfway. And if one side loses everything and the other side wins everything, who can agree to that? – said Petković.
