In the VKF region, between the villages of Brestovac and Zlot, the construction of a water supply system is underway, to which about a hundred households will be connected.

The value of the project is about 85 million dinars and includes the installation of six kilometers of water pipes with connecting shafts.

The works were also visited by the mayor of Bor. Aleksandar Milikic with his collaborators and on that occasion pointed out that the works will continue next year, where the water supply network will be additionally extended to the remaining part of the village of Zlota. In particular, the smaller area of Devessel will also be covered by the construction of water supply infrastructure, which will enable access to healthy drinking water for all households in this area.

“Two years ago, we promised our residents at assemblies that we would work on improving the water supply infrastructure. We will continue in the coming years, and the construction of a new water supply network in the village of Donja Bela Reka is also planned. And that project has been waiting for two years. Unfortunately, despite our will and the money we allocate from the budget, we need to solve technical matters, do projects and get the necessary approvals. But here, we waited for this project to be completed,” said Mayor Milikić.

The plan for 2024 envisages the construction of the second phase of the water supply network in the village of Gornjane, and the works will continue in Metovnica as well.

Milikić pointed out that investments in infrastructure are increasing year by year in order to improve the quality of life of all citizens.
