After almost a quarter of a century, the Serbian national football team will play in the European Championship, and today an announcement dedicated to the Eagles appeared on the official Instagram page of the championship in Germany.
The organizers of the upcoming European Championship sent a message to the Serbian national team through the official Instagram page, along with a set of photos taken during the qualifying matches.
Leading among them are pictures of the celebration after the duel with Bulgaria in Leskovac, when the Eagles checked their visas for the EURO in Germany.
“See you in Germany” – reads the message from the organizers addressed to the Football Association of Serbia.
We would like to remind you that Dragan Stojković Pixi’s team will find themselves in a hole with England, Denmark and Slovenia at the continental championship.
The tournament in Germany will start on June 14 and will last until July 14, and our national teams will play their first match on June 16 when they will meet England in Gelsenkirchen.
In Germany in a new jersey
The Serbian national team will be in a new outfit at the European Championship in Germany. With the new coat of arms, design, and jersey, the Orlovi will play against England, Denmark and Slovenia, and hopefully in the knockout phase.
The well-known sports equipment manufacturer Puma presented the jersey of Serbia together with that of Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Iceland. They are all very similar, which is normal because special ones are made only for the top selections.
Puma announced that the jerseys were made in a program for the transformation of textile waste and other materials that were processed into new textiles.
The red color dominates the Serbian jersey, with two white pins and a blue detail on the sleeves.
Of course, as always, it caused a lot of attention and numerous controversies on social networks, and many agree that Puma has hit what we need.
