Sremska Mitrovica, April 26, 2024 – On Thursday, April 25, the Sremska Mitrovica High School Student Home organized a spectacular presentation of its home through a cultural and artistic program, which was held in the theater hall of the Elementary School “Jovan Popović”.

This event brought together numerous visitors who had the opportunity to enjoy a varied program prepared by different sections of the home. Folklore, music, recitation, literary and drama sections were presented, and those present had the opportunity to see and hear the top talents who participated in the provincial meeting of high school dormitories.

A special moment of the evening was when the drama section performed the play “High school students run the lap of honor”, based on the text “Telemania” by Ana Vukalović. This play won first place at the provincial meet, and now it will compete at the national final, which will be held on May 11 in Novi Sad.

The festive event was attended by numerous students, teachers, parents and citizens of Sremska Mitrovica, and the atmosphere was full of positive energy and excitement. This is another example of how the talent and creativity of young people are developed through cultural and artistic activities, and how culture and art are promoted in the local community.
