Branislav from Sremska Mitrovica urgently needs medical treatment in Austria

Branislav Rebuša from Sremska Mitrovica is facing a difficult health battle after losing one kidney last year, and recently he lost half of the other due to a malignant tumor.

Branislav Rebuša (45) was diagnosed with a malignant tumor of both kidneys in May 2023. (C64 Neoplasma malignum renis, pelvem renalem excludens). There is a chance for life abroad, and the date by which he must collect the money for the operation is inexorably approaching.

Now he urgently needs medical intervention in Austria to prepare for a kidney transplant.

With the treatments he needs to fight the disease comes a heavy financial burden. By May 14, Branislav must collect the entire amount needed for treatment in Austria, otherwise he loses the only appointment offered for a new operation, which is crucial for preserving his life.

Already in July last year, Branislav underwent a nephrectomy of the left kidney, which was the first step in the fight against the disease. However, in February 2024, a new struggle ensued when doctors diagnosed a malignant tumor on the remaining part of the right kidney. After the operation, Branislav was scheduled for radiofrequency ablation of the tumor abroad, but the only available date is May 14, 2024.

The urgent need for financial support puts Branislav in an unenviable position. With another 3.5 million dinars missing before the operation, the young man has no time to wait. This amount is crucial for his treatment and fight against the disease.
