The Government of Serbia announced today that it has adopted the Conclusion on consent to join the OECD Initiative of Public Identity Indicators, which, as stated, will contribute to the assessment of the readiness and resilience of the public integrity system at the national level in preventing corruption, mismanagement and bad spending of public funds.
The goal of the initiative is not to rank countries, but to serve as a dashboard for information on strengthening key parts of the integrity system, the statement said.
The government also adopted the Decree on the issuance of the “Red Cross Week” surcharge postage stamp, which stipulates that the proceeds from the sale of this postage stamp will be paid by JP “Pošta Srbije” Belgrade to the account of the Serbian Red Cross. (end) mjj/kt/dj
