Shooting in the park on Mirijevo: The witness of the confrontation told his version

The man Jovan B. (46) is in the “Zvezdara” KBC because of serious injuries he sustained in the shooting in the park in Mirijevo.

The suspect for the attempted murder of the MP (41) will be heard today at the High Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade.

The police found him and arrested him in just a few hours in Belgrade.

MD is a witness to the shooting who was with the wounded Jovan to the inspectors and told his version of the event.

Unofficially, he said that on Tuesday at around 11 pm he was standing in the park with another man, and not far from them was a group of men.

– According to his version of events, the two men saw that at one point there was a scuffle and a fight between the two men. Allegedly, Jovan and his friend approached to separate them. In the general commotion, Jovan was wounded. Together with another man, the MD brought the injured man to the hospital. He explained that he did not know the attacker from before and that was the first time he saw him – says our source close to the investigation.

The police are checking this version of the story, and it is believed that more will be known after questioning the suspected MP

Jovan B. was wounded in the stomach, and according to the latest information, he underwent surgery. His condition is stable.
