Sremska MItrovica helps farmers who suffered damage in the storm last July

SREMSKA MITROVICA –

After the help that Mitrovica farmers received from the state after they suffered field damage in a supercell storm last year, the City of Sremska Mitrovica also decided to help its farmers and allocate 20,000 dinars from its budget per application for the damage they suffered in the month of July .

The public call is open from April 22 to May 13.

Dragan Peričin from Sremska Mitrovica submitted to the Agency for Rural Development a request for financial assistance given by the city based on the field damage suffered in the storm last year. He suffered the greatest damage to his corn, and as he says, in addition to the 37,000 dinars he received from the state, this city aid of 20,000 dinars will mean a lot to him.

In order for a farmer to realize the right to financial assistance of 20,000 dinars, it is necessary to fulfill two basic conditions, according to the authorities from the Agency for Rural Development, which issued this public call and on whose website you can find out more details.

All documents submitted with the request for financial assistance should be addressed to the applicant and only one request may be submitted per Public Call. The documentation is submitted in person at the premises of the “Agency for Rural Development” in Sremska Mitrovica.

About 18 million dinars are planned to be allocated from the city budget for this purpose, according to the authorities.
