Vučić emphasized that he asked for support and help.
– Everything is boiling in the UN. It’s good that we spent a lot of time here, it will leave a mark both on the vote itself and later on in our bilateral relations – he stated.
According to the president, Serbia and its leadership and representatives still have a lot of work to do.
All that remains is to continue to fight, to come out with our heads held high after everything, and then to dedicate ourselves to the further progress of Serbia, President Vučić said on Instagram.
In New York on Monday evening, Vučić represented Serbia at the session of the UN Security Council, where the six-month report of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the work of UNMIK was presented.
During his stay in New York, Vučić held a series of consultations with the representatives of UN member states before the session of the General Assembly where the proposal for a resolution on Srebrenica is being considered at the UN headquarters in early May, in order to explain Serbia’s position on the announced resolution.
