The Zajedno party announced today that it has decided not to participate in any elections scheduled for June 2.
“We refuse to be complicit in an organized criminal enterprise that robs citizens of their sovereign right to freely decide who will carry out public affairs,” the party’s announcement states.
Zajedno says that “the schedule scheduled for June 2nd is not an election”, neither in Belgrade, nor in other cities and municipalities in Serbia.
“Serbia is entering a farce in which the criminalized regime is trying to gain legitimacy after being caught in a theft of epic proportions on December 17 last year. Now is the moment to gather and organize all citizens who refuse to agree to the lie that there is any possibility of free decision-making in any elections”, Zajedno said.
According to them, after June 2nd comes the next day, which can be “the real beginning of the end of the internal occupation”.
“That will happen if we use the weeks in front of us to organize ourselves well, to come before the citizens of our country with a clear plan for victory,” the announcement added.
The Zajedno party reiterated that it firmly stands by the agreed decision of the coalition Serbia against violence, the coalition NADA and Proglas, signed on March 9, that it is necessary to fulfill the minimum conditions in order to participate in the elections and the last initiative of those entities, that in accordance with the proposed Constitutional by law, all local elections should be held in the fall, so that ODIHR’s recommendations could be adopted and implemented.
Together, they demand that the Parliament adopt the Constitutional Law, in the text proposed by the unanimous decision of the Proclamation and each of the parties that make up the SPN and NADA coalitions.
“We are convinced that only courage and consistency can overcome this evil fate that marks our lives,” emphasized Zajedno.
