After the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Zaječar submitted a proposal for the substitution of jurisdiction in the proceedings regarding the death of Dalibor Dragijević, who died a violent death in police custody, the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office in Niš announced it. As announced, the case of death is taken over by the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Nis.
– The Appellate Public Prosecutor’s Office in Niš authorized the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Niš to, in accordance with the Methodology for investigation in cases of abuse prescribed by the General Mandatory Instruction of the Public Prosecutor of the Republic O. no. 3/17 from 26.09.2017. year, take actions and measures to determine the circumstances under which 04.07.2024. Dalibor Dragijević, formerly from the village of Zlot, town of Bor, passed away – says the prosecution.
Let us remind you that Dalibor Dragijević, the brother of Dejan, otherwise suspected in the murder of Danka Ilić, died in police custody during interrogation by the police. An autopsy revealed numerous injuries on his body.
The MUP claimed that he died of natural causes, but the autopsy report denied this.
