which will solve the decades of torment that plagued its townspeople. This village, about thirty kilometers away from Ivanjica, was not bypassed even by natural disasters, so it was often left without the only macadam road.
Now that hard truth is changing, because the Sastavci – Vučak road, nine kilometers long, is undergoing rehabilitation, which will bring asphalt to this village for the first time. For now, the first stage of two kilometers and seven hundred meters has been completed.

“Something more than two and a half kilometers was done. This time is also of great importance for those of us who are not here every day, who have our homes in Ivanjica, not to mention those who live here. Due to the rains that hit the Ivanjica region last year in May and June, we were practically left without the macadam road. Now, with the asphalt road, it’s all an ugly past”, say the residents of Vučak, who do not hide their gratitude to the management of the municipality and the president, Momčil Mitrović.

After the completion of the first 2.7 kilometers of road, there are six more that will reach the very center of the village where the school is located, but the residents of Vučak are now patiently waiting for further work, sure that their force, which has not had a meter of asphalt road since its inception not forgotten.
