Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sremska Mitrovica sanctioned a total of 11 drivers who committed the offenses of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, speeding and driving without a driver’s license.

The police in Ruma will file a criminal complaint against the fifty-three-year-old man who was driving a “Fiat”, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal acts of endangering public traffic and failing to provide assistance to a person injured in a traffic accident. He suspects that, driving with 2.17 parts per thousand of alcohol in his system, he hit the vehicle that was moving in front of him and ran away, but he was soon found. In this accident, a woman from the vehicle he hit was slightly injured.

In the area of ​​Indjija, a forty-four-year-old man was stopped driving a “Fiat” with 2.00 per thousand of alcohol in his system and without a driver’s license, and in Šid, a thirty-one-year-old driver of an “Opel” with 1.85 per thousand of alcohol.

The patrol in Sremska Mitrovica discovered a thirty-two-year-old Opel driver under the influence of cannabis and a twenty-three-year-old Fiat driver who tested positive for opiates, in Stara Pazova a thirty-six-year-old who drove an Opel under the influence of amphetamines, and in Ruma a thirty-year-old Audi driver who tested positive for cocaine .

These drivers were detained, after which they were brought before the competent misdemeanor judges.

The police in Pećinci found a twenty-six-year-old Audi driver without a driving test and a thirty-seven-year-old man driving a Fiat without a driver’s license, and in Rumi a forty-nine-year-old man driving a Golf without a driver’s license that had been revoked. A twenty-three-year-old man was stopped in Iriga for driving a Mercedes at a speed of 142.9 kilometers per hour, 62.9 more than the speed limit and without a driver’s license.

Corresponding misdemeanor charges were filed against these drivers.
