The “Znak” team from the “Bambi” kindergarten of the “Naše dete” Preschool is the winner of the finals of the “Careful Review” in the competition among preschoolers. Second place was taken by the “Pašačko ostrvo” team from the kindergarten “Kolibri” from Prnjavor, and the third place was taken by the mixed group “Pčelice”, which consisted of three children from the kindergarten of the same name and one from the group from Ribar. The first grade students of “Nikolaj Velimirović” Elementary School were better than their peers from “Janko Veselinović” Elementary School, while in the second grade competition, children from “Stojan Novaković” Elementary School beat students from “Jevrem Obrenović” Elementary School.

The final was held in Sokolski dom, and the winners advanced to the district competition.

– This project of the Traffic Safety Agency of the Republic of Serbia, Council for the Coordination of Road Safety Affairs in the territory of the city of Šabac, is being implemented for the fourth time. This year, the implementation of the review included all schools, including separate teaching units and all kindergartens, both in the city and in the countryside, said Katarina Tadić, coordinator of the Council for the Coordination of Road Safety Affairs in the territory of the city of Šabac.

Sandra Mićić, the coordinator, said that they at PU are extremely fond of this exhibition, both because of the large number of children it includes, and because of its educational importance.

– Although the Show is competitive, here we see its educational importance above all. Through it, a large number of children learn important things that are important for traffic safety, we develop children’s awareness of how important it is to be careful in traffic, to take care of themselves, but also of other traffic participants. Even though they are doing everything correctly, it does not mean that other participants will also act correctly and we must warn them about such situations, that in addition to taking care of themselves and others, they should also be careful of other road users, she stated. is Sandra Micić.
