As RHMZ meteorologist, Slobodan Sovilj, head of the National Center for Hydrometeorological System, Early Announcements and Warnings, told Blic, there will be no precipitation on the morning of May Day, it will be mostly clear.

There may be short-term rain locally on the afternoon of May 1 and 2, but as it looks now, the period with more frequent showers and thunderstorms is postponed for the second part of the holiday. At first it looked like the holidays would be significantly more volatile, but the latest calculations are much more optimistic. “Instability is postponed for May 4, 5 and 6, while the first three days of May are really with a rare occurrence of short-term rain,” concludes Sovilj.
