Cultural entertainment program during the holidays – RADIO TELEVISION BOR

In anticipation of the May Day and Easter holidays, the City of Bor has prepared a rich cultural and entertainment program for its fellow citizens and guests. Although there will not be an organized program during the hour on Lake Bor, the Borans and their guests will traditionally gather on May 2nd at the Zlotski Pećine.

BOR – Traditionally, the people of Bor and their guests welcome the May Day holidays at Lake Bor, i.e. at the Zlotski Pećine. There will be no cultural and artistic program, but at the stands of the Tourist Organization, as part of the May Day Bazaar, visitors will be offered to view and buy handicrafts and souvenirs from the exhibitors. The introduction of additional bus lines to Bor Lake and Zlot Caves is also planned. Already this weekend, the monodrama “What Happened to Me Again” performed by Anđelka Prpić, followed by the plays “Child’s Injuries” and “Pocahontas” are scheduled for theater fans.

“On the eve of the holiday, on May 29, the Museum of Mining and Metallurgy and the Bor Tourism Organization are organizing a traditional Easter egg painting workshop in cooperation with the “Primovara” Association and the Elementary School in Zlot, as well as “Bakljad” in this village, the day after. There won’t be an organized program on Lake Bor, but the May Day bazaar will be open with the support of the Tourist Organization. Traditionally, the Zlot Caves will be officially opened for tourists on May 2. The jubilee, 60th “Village Meetings” will be held on weekends until the end of May“, says Boban Stojanovicassistant to the mayor of Bor.

The May festivities will end with the graduation dance on May 30 and a concert in the Amphitheater of the House of Culture and the spring concert of the Bor cultural and artistic society.
