RECONSTRUCTION OF THE HOUSE OF CULTURE IN ZMAJEVO STARTS SOON Public procurement has been announced

Works worth about 62 million dinars are financed by the Provincial Government, and in the municipality of Vrbas they expect to start shortly after the end of the public procurement.
The president of the municipality of Vrbas, Predrag Rojević, points out that 2024 is an important year for the development of culture in the municipality of Vrbas.

– It is extremely important that the citizens of Zmajevo get their temple of culture. A place that will be the center of gatherings and where they will be able to realize all kinds of cultural programs. I am extremely proud of the fact that this year, finally, after many years, all cultural centers in the territory of the municipality will be put into operation. The final works on the ground floor decoration and furnishing of the new House of Culture in Ravni Selo are in progress. Work on the reconstruction of the House of Culture in Vrbas has been going on for several months, including the construction of a modern, multifunctional theater hall. In the previous three years, homes were reconstructed
in Kucura and Bački Dobro polje, and with regular maintenance, we also plan to reconstruct the House of Culture in Savino Selo – says Rojević.

He points out that in the previous four years, more than 1.1 billion dinars were invested in culture.

– With huge investments in communal infrastructure, in the reconstruction of schools and kindergartens, investments in the development of sports, road infrastructure and healthcare, we invest significant funds in the development of culture with dedication and commitment. By reconstructing and modernizing cultural centers in all populated areas, we will create conditions for the organization, realization and exchange of cultural programs and content. Cultural centers are a point that unites and gathers people, improving the entire cultural, social and economic environment – said Rojević.
