Last night, the ensemble of the National Theater from Belgrade, which performed the play “Empire of Darkness”, was greeted with thunderous applause. This performance marked the beginning of the third “Days of Igor” event at the Serbian National Theater.
Tonight, on the “Pera Dobrinović” stage, the audience will watch “Bakhe – a short overview of the collapse” of the National Theater from Bitola, while Saturday is reserved for the projection of the play “Tales from the Vienna Forest” by the Gavella City Drama Theater. On Monday, April 29, “Don Juan” will be performed by the “Toša Jovanović” National Theater from Zrenjanin.
Before the performance, at 5:00 p.m., there will be a discussion “Theatrical strategies of Igor Vuk Torbica: The performative space in acting” on the “Pera Dobrinović” stage. On this occasion, great names of domestic and regional theaters, such as Vesna Jevnikar, Mia Melher, Rakan Rusadat, Hana Selimović, Ninoslav Đorđević and Dušan Vukašinović, will talk about Torbica’s creativity.
