GIK announced 4 election lists, the opposition is participating in local elections

The first electoral list was announced for participation in the Belgrade elections Aleksandar Vucic – Belgrade tomorrow”which consists of 13 political parties and one citizens’ association, and lists have also been announced “Sorry this is for you – Petar Đurić”, as well as the electoral list “Russian Party – Serbs and Russians are brothers forever”which will have the status of a national minority.

Yesterday GIK announced the fourth electoral list of the Citizens’ Group “For green Belgrade, kand if not now – Dr. Dejan Žujović”.

In addition to the Belgrade elections, all local elections will be attended by opposition parties gathered under the slogan “I choose the Green-Left Front Struggle, the Ecological Uprising, the People’s Movement of Serbia, the Movement of Free Citizens, the New Face of Serbia and the Democratic Party”.

The Freedom and Justice Party (SSP), Serbia Center, the NADA coalition and the Zajedno party have announced that they will not participate in the Belgrade elections, but this does not apply to other municipalities and cities.

Novi Sad is different from Belgrade

In Novi Sad, the parties gathered in a coalition “Serbia against violence“the NADA coalition with its partners and the “Bravo” movement, parties and associations of the left and the right, agreed on the views that it is necessary to go to the elections in that city, and as they recently stated in a statement, “the December election results of these two coalitions were overall better than the Serbian Progressive Party in Novi Sad, which is a sufficient indicator that the citizens want changes”.

The Valjevo Local Front, the Green-Left Front, the Democratic Party, the People’s Movement of Serbia, the New Face of Serbia, but also the New DSS and the Freedom and Justice Party will participate in the local elections together. in Valjevo, while the candidate for mayor will be Ivan Manić, an English teacher and winner of the 143rd cycle of the popular “Puzzle”.

On the other hand, of the opposition parties that decided to boycott the Belgrade elections, the majority said that they would leave the decisions on going out to their local committees.

DJB goes to the polls

The city committees “Enough is Enough” (DJB) have decided that they will run independently in the Belgrade and Novi Sad elections on a list called “Saša Radulović – Enough is enough – A solution for change”.

– In all other municipalities and cities of Serbia, our committees have the freedom to participate in the elections in the coalitions they consider the best for their local communities – it is stated in today’s announcement, “Enough is enough.”

The Zajedno party announced earlier that it had decided not to participate in the Belgrade and local elections scheduled for June 2.

Savo Manojlović enters politics

Savo Manojlović, campaign director of the movement “Kreni pereni” announced recently that the movement made a decision to participate in the elections in Belgrade on June 2. He will take part in the Belgrade elections independently, and he will make a decision on possible participation in other local elections later. He also confirmed that he will be a candidate for mayor of Belgrade.

In the meantime, it was announced that they will perform independently in Novi Sad, where their candidate for mayor is lawyer Danilo Babić, as well as in Sremska Mitrovica.
