Is there a boycott? There is no such thing for the Speaker of the Parliament, Ana Brnabić. For the parties that decided not to participate in the Belgrade elections – there is. How will that boycott pay off?

The co-president of the Zajedno party, Biljana Stojković, designed the election campaign – as an election stew of the Serbian Progressive Party:

“The first ingredient is brainwashed brains… They are soft, but they need to be stewed a little… for at least ten years.” Furthermore, we need a large number of phantom voters with the address number 0″, says Biljana Stojković.

The soup arrives, however, late for the city committee of Biljana Stojković’s party, which is no longer part of “Together” and headed by Đorđe Miketić, who was expelled from the party, intends to go to the elections. The SSP showed more understanding than “Together” and accepted the decision of its city committee in Novi Sad, which is going to the elections.

“Unfortunately, my colleagues from Novi Sad, in my opinion, naively decided to join this fight. Several committees, a dozen, decided to try their luck. Then again, we can’t, we’re not a centralized party and you can’t stop people from trying it. I say, I think it’s a naive decision”, says SSP vice-president Marinika Tepić.

Tepić repeats that the unified opposition missed a great chance.

“We had him in hand.” And it was so little necessary to withstand all the pressure he harnessed. Because I have to remind you that he included in his list all those who have been published separately so far. “Boycotting or not going to the elections was a problem for all of them, and then the pressures started to make one scratch, then another, and finally, that this alliance would fall apart,” says Tepić.

The “New DSS” and the “NADA” coalition announce an active boycott, a battle to reduce voter turnout, as defined by the leader of that party, Miloš Jovanović. For Danas, Jovanović states that there is a reason for the boycott in Belgrade and going out in other areas.

“The main difference here is that in Belgrade there has already been evidence of theft in the elections in December, which is evidenced by Arena, as well as the evidence of the will to continue stealing in repeated elections, as evidenced by the case from Mala Krsna and the transfer of voters to Voždovac. “Finally, there is a dispute before the Constitutional Court for Belgrade,” said Miloš Jovanović.

Pro-boycott parties reiterate that only postponing the elections to the fall gives enough time to implement ODIHR’s recommendations.
