The authorized officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Directorate of the State Police for the city of Belgrade, Traffic Police Administration SPI for investigation of traffic accidents, ordered the detention of Č. L. (21) years old due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he hit a minor with an electric trident the day before.
According to the announcement, on April 27, around 7:30 p.m. in Batajnica, in Stevan Dubajić street at number 20, he committed the crime of serious crime against the safety of public traffic under the provisions of Article 297 of the Criminal Code, in such a way that, while driving an electric scooter, hit the face of a minor Đ. A. (14), who was crossing the street at a marked pedestrian crossing.
Đ. A. (14) fell on the road due to the force of the impact and suffered severe, life-threatening injuries. The suspect will be questioned tomorrow in the premises of the Third Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, according to the announcement.
