Pristina and Tirana launched a fierce offensive in America. The well-known lobbyist Roy Bailey, who is close to former US President Donald Trump, was hired. The contract was signed by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Aljbin Kurti, and from Tirana, Fatmir Mediu, an Albanian conservative politician.

The contract that “Blitz” had access to, and which was filed with the US Department of Justice on September 21, did not specify the figure for which the lobbyist Bailey was hired. The fact is that the sums for lobbying range from several hundred thousand dollars and upwards. And Bailey is a serious player, who is extremely close to Republicans in Texas and Florida.

The contracts entered into by Kurti and Media were filed with the US Department of Justice on the same day within seconds. Albanian at 16:21,53 and Kosovar six seconds later. Both contracts expire on July 31, 2023.

The signatory on behalf of Kosovo, Aljbin Kurti, judging by the contract, aims to improve the perception of Kosovo among American officials. Although America is the spearhead of Kosovo’s independence, for now still self-proclaimed, Pristina’s moves have not met with the approval of American officials lately.

In particular, the government in Pristina encounters resistance from American diplomats on the ground who often insist on the provisions that Pristina must comply with when it comes to the property and position of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The last American intervention was delaying the introduction of the markings of the so-called Republic of Kosovo on license plates. However, the contract with Kosovo did not specify the conditions under which it was concluded.

The Albanian contract is much “cleaner” on that side. The contract states that the goal of the agreement is to organize meetings with American officials in order to improve the perception of Albania among the leading structures.

Signatory on behalf of Albania is Fatmir Mediu, president of the Republican Party and member of parliament. Mediu was the Minister of Defense of Albania from 2005 to 2008, and later in 2010, the Minister of Ecology. When it comes to him, he has always had good relations with certain American officials.

That lobbyist Bailey did not waste time testified that in less than two weeks he had already contacted two Republican senators, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. It has already been threaded through the engagement reports.

Roy Bailey, who was chosen in Tirana and Pristina, is a close associate of Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York and Donald Trump’s lawyer. Bailey, who is a Texas investor, co-chaired the fundraising committee for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
