Today, a yellow weather alert is in effect in more than half of the territories in Serbia, in Bačka, Banat, Srem, Belgrade, Western Serbia, Pomoravlje and Šumadija, in order to warn of possible thunderstorms.
As the RHMZ announced early this morning, light to moderate rain is now expected in the Bačka area.
“In the next two hours in Bačka, there will be rain in some places, of weak to moderate intensity,” they wrote a little after five o’clock.
By the way, the yellow weather alarm “turns on” when the weather can be potentially dangerous, more precisely when dangerous weather phenomena are forecast.
“They are of such intensity that they can cause material damage and be dangerous for people and animals.” You should be very careful, aware of the risks and regularly informed about the details of the expected meteorological conditions. Follow the advice given by the competent state services”.
