In the next 2 hours, showers with thunder will be intense for a short time with the local appearance of hail in the area of western Serbia, Šumadija and in some parts of Belgrade, the RHMZ has just warned.
As announced, the first cloudy developments that will condition the local appearance of short-term rain or showers with thunder are expected already in the middle of the day in western Serbia, while later in the afternoon, except in the west, they will be frequent in the south of Vojvodina, in the central and eastern parts of the country. .
The appearance of rain and local showers with thunder in the Belgrade area are expected after 2 p.m. The downpour will be short-term intense in some parts of the city with the possibility of rain, the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) states on its website.
The orange weather alarm is lit for Western Serbia and Šumadija, yellow for Bačka, Banat, Srem, Belgrade and Pomoravlje.

A dry line is an area where air masses are separated based on their dew point (moisture). North of the line is a humid and unstable atmosphere, further south in the lower layers it is extremely dry, due to the drying effect of the southwest wind. Due to the convergence of the wind towards this sector and the difference in humidity, this line is the localization of the creation of storm clouds, after which they will be released in several waves in the afternoon and moved by a southwesterly flow to the northeast.

For the weekend, a noticeable increase in temperatures – maximum values on Saturday (27.04.) from 21 to 23 °C, and on Sunday and in the first half of the next week (28.04 – 02.05.) from 24 to 29 °C. In Podunavlje, Pomoravlje and Vojvodina, moderate and strong southerly and southeasterly winds will begin to blow.
