The methods were numerous, but it was only at the end of the 19th century that operations with anesthesia began. A relatively young scientific field is today a powerful support for the development of all other medical fields. The science and importance of this scientific field brought together doctors from all university centers in Serbia, primarily eminent anesthesiologists, but also other specialties who contributed to the writing of the first unified textbook on anesthesiology in Serbia in this century.
177 doctors managed to consolidate and present the most important and necessary knowledge from anesthesia on 2,500 pages, which are based on the views of modern science and are confirmed in clinical practice. In the show, prof. Dr. Predrag Stevanović, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, clinical assistant Dr. Marina Boboš, Ph.D. honey Ana Cvetković, clinical assistant Dr. Ivana Petrov, clinical assistant Dr. Vesna Stevanović, pediatric anesthesiologist, prof. Dr. Dejan Stojakov, Dr. Duška Ignjatović.
The editorial team of the scientific program attended the promotion of this capital work, which represents a major event for anesthesiology in Serbia.
