Formula 1 legend David Coulthard was a guest of Belgrade at the Red Bull Show Run event, where he drove the car of the “Red Bull” team through the streets of the Serbian capital.
The fact that the famous motorist had a great time in Serbia is also evidenced by a new video that surfaced on social networks.
When they played the legendary song “Floyd” from the movie “National Class” from 1979 directed by Goran Marković, Coulthard couldn’t resist and started humming along to this track.
Let us remind you that the song “Floyd”, originally sung by Dado Topić, was created by Marina Tucaković and Zoran Simjanović.
– Marina Tucaković wrote phenomenal lyrics and now it was necessary to find someone to sing them. Dado Topić immediately came to mind. He agreed without even hearing the song. When he arrived in Belgrade, he sang it drunk. However, the story of the song from that movie “Why” is more interesting. I had two candidates – Davorin Popović and Oliver Dragojević. I asked the organizers to turn the frontman of the group Index, because I wanted to ask the rocker first. Davorin said he couldn’t come and Oliver filmed her – said Simjanović at one time.
By the way, after driving a car in Belgrade, Coulthard stood in front of the trumpeters, and a little later he enjoyed the sound of the violin in a restaurant in Skadarlija.
He also met the famous Serbian singer Tijana Bogićević, who performed the Serbian national anthem “God’s Justice” at the Red Bull Show Run event.
