Actress Lola Glaudini, who worked with Depp on Blow, last month accused him of verbal abuse on the set of the 2001 film, and Maiven revealed in a recent interview with the Independent that the filming of Madame de Bari was not went smoothly, reports Unilad.

The director and the controversial actor had different creative visions, which occasionally led to disagreements.

“Johnny wrote a new version of the script, which I wasn’t happy with. His script didn’t work. I started filming without the changes he asked for, which he took as an insult,” said the actress.

She also revealed that he sometimes did not want to appear on the set, and that he expected everyone to treat him like a legend all the time.

“I have to be honest. It’s hard to work with him. The film crew was afraid of him because he has a different sense of humor, and we didn’t know if he would show up on time, or if he would be able to speak his lines. Even if he would show up on time, the film crew was afraid of him,” Maiven added.

The director and the actor had a friendly relationship before the filming, but since the filming ended, they are no longer in contact. Despite everything, she did not regret giving him the role.

“Johnny is a great genius for me, but he lives in another world. I can’t communicate with him,” she explained.
