Husband of the missing Anna Walsh he was arrested tonight for obstructing the investigation.
The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, as reported by US media, announced that Brian Walsh, 46, was arrested on Sunday evening and is expected to be arraigned in Quincy District Court on Monday.
– Walsh is accused of misleading the police investigation into his wife’s disappearance. The police have reason to believe that Brian Walsh has committed the crime of misleading police investigators – said Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey, as reported by Boston 25.
Investigators today, let’s remember, suddenly returned to the house of the missing Anna Walsh (39), mother of three children, who grew up in Belgrade, and disappeared less than nine days ago.
Several marked and unmarked police cars, as reported by local media, are parked in front of the house, and investigators are circling the property in the town of Cohasset, Massachusetts.
The day before, let’s recall, the local police announced that the search of the area was completed without results and that it will be continued only if new information appears.
Earlier, 20 members of the special emergency team with three trained dogs searched the woods near Anna Walsh’s house for two days. Investigators also drained the pool next to the house and searched a nearby stream with the help of divers, but no trace was found.
Family members, let’s remind, last saw Ana on January 1 around 4:00 a.m. when she was supposed to go to Logan Airport in Boston, from where she planned to catch a flight to Washington, where she works in a real estate agency.
Ana, however, didn’t even get to the airport, and the local police chief said that they don’t even have confirmation that she got into the vehicle that was supposed to go to “Logan”.
The police stated that Ana is very active on social networks, but that she has not used her mobile phone since New Year’s when she disappeared.
