A fierce crackdown on migrants is underway in Makova šuma near Subotica.

According to unofficial information from TV “Pannon”, there was a confrontation between migrants and several people were injured. The police and emergency services came to the scene in large numbers.

All available crews of the rescue station were engaged. According to RTV Pannon, migrants with various injuries are constantly transported to the Subotica public hospital. There is currently no information on the deceased.

The team of Panon RTV, which was on the spot, unofficially learned from the policemen that there was a public shooting in the early morning hours in the forest on Poppy Week. For now, it is known that at least two people are seriously injured, who were allegedly transported in life-threatening condition due to gunshot wounds in the abdomen.

As the shooting continued to be heard from the direction of the forest, the police were ordered to wear bulletproof vests.
