At least four people died in the hurricane that hit Siberia, Russia. the Investigative Committee for the Kemerovo Region announced.

According to the Ministry of Energy, about 264,000 inhabitants of Siberia were left without electricity due to the hurricaneKommersant reported.
In the city of Novokuznetsk in western Siberia, a state of emergency was declared after 47 roofs of residential buildings were damaged, more than 200 trees were felled, 30 cars and 45 infrastructure facilities were damaged, Mayor Sergey Kuznetsov announced.
In Novokuznetsk, schools and kindergartens will be closed on Monday.
On the territory of Altai, three people were injured and hospitalized, the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced.
