Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi sent a letter to the leaders of 50 countries, urging them to influence Israel to stop attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Raisi’s message about the call for a ceasefire in Gaza was sent to the Russian and Chinese presidents, as well as to the leaders of Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Turkey and South Africa, TASS reported.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Hezbollah from Lebanon launched about 25 rockets and three kamikaze drones at several locations in the north of Israel in one hour.

The announcement states that the Israeli air defense system “Iron Dome” intercepted three rockets, while the rest fell on open areas.

The IDF adds that there were no injuries in the attacks and that it responds to the attacks with artillery shelling.

Ankara: The arrival of evacuees from Gaza is expected

Nearly 200 evacuees from Gaza are expected to arrive in Turkey, including dozens of patients who will receive medical treatment there, a spokesman for the Turkish Ministry of Health and Foreign Affairs said, according to Reuters.

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said 61 patients, accompanied by 49 relatives, arrived in Ankara today after initially fleeing to Egypt on Sunday.

In talks with Abbas and Netanyahu, Macron condemned the violence against the Palestinians

French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the violence against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank in telephone conversations with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the French Presidency announced.

The statement states that Macron told Abbas that it is necessary for the Palestinian Authority and all countries in the region to unequivocally and with the greatest determination condemn the terrorist attack carried out by Hamas in Israel on October 7.

Ministers of Arab and Islamic countries from Beijing called for a truce in Gaza

The ministers of the Arab and Islamic countries called today from Beijing for an urgent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the delivery of humanitarian aid to that Palestinian enclave.

At an extraordinary joint Islamic-Arab summit in Riyadh earlier this month, an end to the blockade of Gaza, access to humanitarian aid and a halt to arms sales to Israel were requested, Reuters recalls.
