Israel orders new evacuation in northern Gaza
Israel has ordered a new evacuation in the Beit Lahia area of northern Gaza, warning that it is a “dangerous combat zone,” an Israeli military spokesman said.
The IDF bombarded the north of the Gaza Strip several times overnight, which was one of the heaviest shelling in recent weeks, Reuters reported, citing local sources.
At the same time, Israeli tanks repeatedly targeted positions in Gaza City itself.
The Israeli army announced that the attack came after an internal investigation determined that during the previous night several rockets had been launched at Israel from the direction of northern Gaza.
