Two criminal groups “fired”, 17 people were arrested: They falsified documents, diplomas

According to the order of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime in cooperation with the SBPOK, two organized criminal groups (17 persons) were deprived of their liberty on the territory of Serbia today on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of document forgery and abuse of official position in the period from April 2023 until today. and association to commit criminal acts.

The first organized criminal group consisted of six persons namely: MN, NG, VS, LRS, SB and NP, while the second organized criminal group consisted of 11 persons namely: RB, AB, BD, DG, ID, ZV, MB, MP , SK, B.Đ and SK.

Namely, there are grounds for suspicion that these organized criminal groups procured for further use as well as created forged documents, namely: identity cards, gift contracts, authorizations, powers of attorney which related to the purchase and sale of cadastral plots in AP Kosovo and Metohija owned by displaced persons of Serbian nationality from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, how are persons of Albanian nationality from the territory of Kosovo AP Kosovo and Metohija who are interested in obtaining the status of citizens of Serbia illegally enabled registration of residence, obtaining citizenship and false documents.

Forged certificates, diplomas…

Too, they made interested persons falsified certificates, diplomas of completed secondary, higher and higher education and thus enabled these persons to use these falsified documents as real ones.

This way they are created around 400 different documents and obtained illegal property benefits in the amount of 100,000 euros so far.

Among the members of these two organized criminal groups are two registrars, one member of the MUP, a former employee of Megatrend University and a counselor employed by the Ministry of Education.

A search of premises in several locations is ongoing.

Suspects will be brought to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for organized crime along with a criminal complaint, after which they will be questioned.
