A forensic scientist discovers whether Legion is the suspected X-man

The British media announced that the man, who is suspected of murdering the British journalist Jill Dando, strikingly resembles Milorad Ulemek Legija, which our famous forensic expert Časlav Ristić commented for Telegraf.rs.

Namely, the suspect, whom they call man X, was recorded by a security camera, and the British media reported the claims of a British expert who says that he looks like the convicted killer Legion.

Ristić pointed out that the two have more differences than similarities.

“The photo of the suspected man is not clear, but what can be concluded is that Legija has a more pointed nose, while the wanted man has a pointed one. Their ears are not the same either, Legija’s are larger and closer to the head, while his are more clipped,” said the forensic expert.

He also stated that based on these photos, he can conclude that Legija’s forehead is retracted, while the suspect’s is protruding.

“Legija has a larger distance between his eyebrows, he has stronger eyebrows, his beard is wide, while the suspect’s man has a thinner one,” added Časlav.

The only similarity he noticed was the hair and the mouth.

Let’s remind, the British expert on face comparison, Amy Polito, found a number of similarities between the “X-man” from the photo from the surveillance camera and Milorad Ulemek Legija, who is in prison where he is serving a sentence of 40 years.

“Within the limitations of the image, no differences were found between the X-Man and Mr. Ulemek,” Polito said but left open the possibility that he could not draw a true conclusion due to the poor resolution of the photo.

Polito said it might be possible to make a more accurate finding if a better quality photo is obtained. In addition, the expert pointed out an indentation on the bridge of Ulemek’s nose that is not visible in the photo of Man X.

Ulemek’s lawyer, Aleksandar Kovačević, said that his client did not want to “participate” and answer the question of whether he killed Jill.

“I inform you that my client has been informed about this and is not interested in participating,” said Legija’s lawyer Aleksandar Kovačević.

Let us remind you that the famous BBC presenter, Jill Dando, was murdered in 1999 on the threshold of her house in London. The media at the time claimed that Serbs were also involved in her liquidation, however, the murder of this well-known 37-year-old woman is still unsolved.
