Zvezda is the second time in just four days defeated the eternal rival, the Partizan team, this time in semi-final of the Serbian Cup – 2:0.

Red and white will play against Vojvodina in the final the most massive football competition in the country. The team from Novi Sad was better than Radnicki in Kragujevac minimum result. The final match will be played in Loznica at the “Lagator” stadium on May 23.

He scored goals for Zvezda Peter Olayinka in just two minutes apart, the first in the 27th and the second in the 29th minute of the game. The red and whites played a duel for the sake of results, because after a calm start and offensive of Partizan in the introduction, they took advantage of the inattention of the opposing defenders.

Hwang was a key player, next to Olajinka, at the leadership of the red and whites. The Korean sent a cross from the right side from the corner, and then he received the ball excellently after the cut-off and again sent it to the second post where the Nigerian was, who did well, and the ball grazed Aleksandar Filipović and rattled the visitors’ net.

The second goal came again due to a bad reaction, and the previously inadequate placement of the Partizan players in their own penalty area. First, they easily allowed Srđan Mijailović to cross from the right, and then badly marked Olajinka, who beat Aleksandar Jovanović for the second time with an excellent reception.

Olayinka’s goalsthe match was over even before the official end, because the Partizan players were extremely indisposed.

The start of the match was delayed a little less than ten minutes, because the black and white footballers had a gathering in front of their bench with reserve players and members of the coaching staff. The main referee of the match, Miloš Milanović, awarded due to the obstruction of the start of the match yellow card to captain Svetozar Marković. After the referee’s first whistle, Samed Bazdar demonstratively kicked the ball out. With these moves, the players of Partizan are showed revolt according to the events that preceded the cup match, and after the 172nd eternal derby. Let us remind you that the black and whites were not satisfied with the refereeing of Pavle Ilić in the league match.

Perhaps it was the stormy events, more precisely the announcements made by Partizan officials after the Super League eternal derby, that influenced the players to show a bad performance against Zvezda in the Serbian Cup.

Zvezda’s footballers were more agile, moodier and more direct in the game with the ball, and at the same time, they covered the intermediate space, the part between the last line and the midfield, excellently defensively. Maneuver for passing game was limited for the guests, and in the absence of a solution, they regularly made mistakes in front of the home team’s penalty area.

In the second half, Zvezda made a mini-festival of mistakes, and in those moments Black and white goalkeeper Jovanovic has demonstrated excellent reflexes and excellent goalkeeping skills for the umpteenth time in the season so far.

Red and white with this triumph tenth consecutive time remained undefeated from Partizan on their own ground. Partizan football players last triumphed at Zvezda Stadium on May 23, 2019. It should also be noted that Zvezda has not yet experienced a defeat since the arrival of Vladan Milojević to the coaching position. At the same time, in the 201st match as the strategist of the red and whites, Milojević registered his 148th victory and the fourth against Partizan in the tenth match in the eternal derbies.

Milojević’s final against Vojvodina will be his first with Zvezda in the Serbian Cup, and at the same time, the Belgrade red and white strategist will have the opportunity to reach his first double crown.
