Nikola Rokvic’s wife revealed the details of his trip to Greece: “And when his body physically weakens…”

Our singer Nikola Rokvic started his pilgrimage three days ago, and will travel 1,060 km to reach Aegina, where the famous monastery of Saint Nektarios of Aegina is located, and on the way he will collect funds for his foundation “Family”. His wife, Bojana Rokvić, announced to “Jutro na Blic” and revealed whether she will join her husband and what are the future plans of this family.

As she stated, Nikola Rokvić is ready for all the challenges that lie ahead of him, because he has been preparing for this venture with top professionals for some time.

– He is really that optimistic in the beginning. For now, he has covered about 90 km, considering that he covers during the day, he covers about 30 a day, so you can also follow him, he actually updates on his Instagram profile every day. And for now he feels really great, he is very excited, he is grateful to all the people who participated, the companies, everyone who is involved in the foundation and in its mission. I mean, he’s been preparing for this feat for a long time, so he’s really physically and mentally ready now, and he’s been trained by people who do extreme marathons, so he already knows what he can do and what’s waiting for him on this journey of his, but I kind of believe that it will be difficult for sure at certain moments, but I believe that even when the body may weaken physically, the mind will not, and that is the most important thing – says Bojana Rokvić.

He says that although they were hoping for a big turnout, they didn’t expect something like this.

– This is an unprecedented feat, but we did not expect such a response. My children and I are leaving for the trip on Saturday, we will join him along the way. During Easter he will be in Macedonia, so we will meet there. We will be together for two days, that is what is most important for both the children and him – says Bojana.

He also points out that the plan of the “Family” foundation is to help children and multi-member families.

– It is definitely the foundation’s plan to help children, to help multi-member families, to help children and families in general who need it the most. Everyone asked us why our foundation, why we should establish our own, because now we can really help those we want in the way we want. That’s what we’ve always done, wanted, and now it’s kind of more direct and we’re very happy about it, so I think we have a lot of plans. I don’t know if they will be this extreme, at some point maybe I will join him when the children grow up a bit, but we really plan to leave our children with something that they will be able to continue and to teach them the right values, to help those who need it, but also those who are able – says Bojana Rokvić for “Blic TV”.
