The Russians are producing more weapons than they need for a special operation

GERMAN Defense Minister Boris Pistorius claims Russia is producing more weapons than it needs to continue its special military operation in Ukraine.

In an interview with ARD television, he was asked if he shares the fear of the Baltic countries that Russia will be able to attack NATO territory in a few years, he replied that he does not have a crystal ball to predict the future, TASS reported.

– But what military experts and weapons specialists say is that Russia is increasing the production of weapons – he said. Pistorius pointed out that most of what is produced is not sent to the front, but goes to warehouses.

According to the German Minister of Defense, the entire NATO will be involved in case of escalation.

– In that case, we should be able to defend ourselves, to wage a war that will be imposed on us. That is why we are sparing no effort to properly equip the armed forces in Europe, in NATO – he added.
