AFTER the breakthrough of the front in the Donetsk region, Russian troops occupied another village, Novobakhmutovka, and in the meantime, the Ukrainian army is desperately trying to stabilize the front, which is only partially successful, writes BILD military analyst Julian Repke.

According to him, now the main hope for the Ukrainian army is the delivery of new weapons, especially ammunition for Western high-precision weapons. He reminded that in Poland dozens of Bradley armored personnel carriers are waiting in the parking lot for transportation across the border.

– After the decision of the US Congress to provide assistance to Kiev, Ukraine began to use significantly more M30 missiles to destroy Russian air systems and anti-aircraft systems at a distance of up to 80 kilometers behind the front line. Most likely, this indicates that the Armed Forces have been promised hundreds of new missiles in the next few days – the analyst estimated.

He pointed out that in parallel with this, the Ukrainian army is carrying out mass attacks on the Russian oil industry, and the Smolensk region was particularly affected, where an oil warehouse and a Rosneft pumping station caught fire after a drone attack.

Another Ukrainian drone crashed into an oil warehouse in the Voronezh region, Repke said, adding that the tractor factory in Lipetsk, which produces important components for military armored vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces, was also damaged.
