Urgent deliveries of weapons and ammunition are needed

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Ukraine can still win the war against Russia, but that the Allies would have to be more involved in order for Kiev to receive the support that the Alliance promised.

On Thursday, at the meeting of the non-profit organization “Atlantic Bridge” in Berlin, Stoltenberg said that NATO members must now turn what they promised and committed to Ukraine into urgent deliveries of weapons and ammunition, the Kyiv Independent reported.

– In recent months, NATO members have not provided the support they promised – Stoltenberg said.

The months-long delay in US aid has worsened the situation on the Ukraine front, and cities across the country are being attacked by Russian drones and missiles due to a lack of air defense, according to the Kyiv Independent.

The US Congress this week passed legislation authorizing an aid package for Ukraine, and European countries, including Great Britain, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands, have also recently pledged to send military aid to Ukraine.
