American businessman Brad Gallinson has become the majority owner of the English football league Dillingham, that club announced.

A real estate billionaire has been linked with taking over this club for several months.
The previous owner of the club, Paul Scully, will retain a minority stake. Scully has been at Dillingham since 1995, and during his tenure, the club was a member of the Championship from 2000 to 2005.
“This is a magnificent, exciting and historic time in the long history of our club.” Scully said in a statement, the BBC reported.
In August, Scully stepped down from the day-to-day running of the club due to abuse from fans.
Gallinson thanked the previous owner for what he had done over the past 27 years.
“A bright future is in sight with hopefully more goals and a lucrative transfer window”he added.
After 20 games played, Dillingham occupies the last 24th place in the table of the fourth tier of the competition with 14 points and only six goals scored.
