On Monday, Partizan’s basketball players will visit Cedevita Olimpija in the game of the 8th round of the regional ABA league, and the black and white coach Željko Obradović expressed his expectations before this match.
Partizan in the last five league games, he did not feel the sweetness of victory in Ljubljana, and Obradovic is aware that his team will have to be at a high level in order to break this unpleasant tradition.
– We have a game in Ljubljana ahead of us, where we lost twice last season and where Partizan has had a very hard time winning in the last few years. Cedevita Olimpija has a good team, they have a lot of experience and we certainly have a very difficult task ahead of us. I won’t say anything new if I repeat that energy and concentration during the entire 40 minutes of the match bring victory. It will be the same tomorrow. And it’s up to us to do everything so that those things are on our side – Obradović pointed out.
The black and white playmaker Ognjen Jaramaz is also aware of the importance of visiting “Stožice”.
– We are aware of the challenge that awaits us. A difficult away game against a very good team with several very experienced players. We are preparing as best as we can and tomorrow we will certainly go out on the field with great desire and motivation to show the best game – said Jaramaz.
