Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has stated that Tyson Fury is currently the best boxer in the world.

Fury and the Ukrainian Alexander Usyk and the British Tyson Fury will fight on February 17 next year in Riyadh for the unification of all heavyweight titles.
Tyson explained that Fury only had bad timing against Ngonu.
“We can’t forget what Fury did against Francis Ngannou, but you have to understand that he’s still the world champion. He made it a great night. He gave Francis a chance and it was just another bad performance for him. We all have bad moments, and that was his”he said TysonBritish media reports.
Fury is the heavyweight champion in the WBC version, and Usyk holds the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO championship belts. The winner of this fight will be the first boxer to unify all heavyweight belts since Lennox Lewis in 1999 and 2000.
“I’m looking forward to the fight between Fury and Usyk. I’m rooting for Fury because I think he’s going to win. Fury is the best boxer in the world, especially at heavyweight. Great fighters lose, great fighters look bad, but that doesn’t stop them from being great fighters”he said Tyson.
