Players agree: Nikola Jokic is the MVP, Michael Jordan the best of all time – Sport

--

The Serbian center and ace of the Denver Nuggets received the absolute support of his colleagues.

On the official website of the NBA League, it was announced that Nikola Jokić, Šej Gildžijus Aleksander and Luka Dončić are in the running for this season’s MVP title.

If only the players were asked, apparently, there would be no doubt that the Serb deserves to receive the award for the most original player in the regular part of this season for the third time in his impressive NBA career.

Namely, Athletics conducted extensive research on various topics, and among the respondents were as many as 140 NBA players, most of whom supported Jokić in the selection for this season’s MVP.

It was interesting that the Serb’s biggest competitor was not the representative of Slovenia, but Canada, considering that Jokić received almost 42% of the votes, and Aleksander even 37%. Dončić received the support of only 9.9% of his colleagues.

As expected, Jokić was at the very top when it came to who a club would prefer to build a team with. He received 27% of the votes, while the only one ahead of him was Victor Wembanyama, the San Antonio ruckman who received a slight 0.7% more votes.

Jokic’s Denver is given the best chance when it comes to winning the championship title this season (55%), while the Boston Celtics are in second place with 33.9% support.

Perhaps the most interesting question was about who is the best basketball player of all time. Although he has been retired from playing for more than two decades, Michael Jordan received the most votes (45.9%), while LeBron James was second (42.1%) and Kobe Bryant was third (9.8%).
