Only eight Serbian clubs received licenses to organize matches in UEFA competitions – Sport

--

The Club Licensing Commission of the Football Association of Serbia estimated that only eight clubs meet the requirements for organizing matches in competitions organized by UEFA.

Crvena zvezda, Partizan, TSC, Voždovac, Napredak, Mladost, Vojvodina and Čukarički received licenses because they met all five criteria: sports, infrastructure, personnel-administrative, financial and legal.

This license implies that the mentioned clubs have the right to perform both in competitions organized by UEFA and in the Super League in the 2024/25 competition season, depending on the achieved sports results.

Also, the process of licensing women’s clubs for competitions organized by UEFA, i.e. the Women’s Champions League, was carried out and the commission decided to issue a license to ŽFK Crvena zvezda and ŽFK Spartak.

Radnički 1923, Javor, IMT, Železničar, Radnik, OFK Beograd, Smederevo 1924 and Jedinstvo received a license to compete in the Super League for the 2024/25 competition season.

Mačva, OFK Vršac, Grafičar, Metalac, Sloboda, Mladost GAT, Borac 1926, Loznica and Trajal received a license to compete in the First League.

The other clubs, which failed to prove that they met the criteria, have the possibility to prove it in the appeal procedure and thus obtain a license.
