Crvena zvezda and Partizan meet for the fourth time this season, unlike the 173rd edition in the battle for points, this last one is worth the final of the Serbian Cup (19:00, TV Arena 1 Premium) and the duel with Vojvodina on May 23 in Loznica.
The reflection of the match from Saturday evening hovered over both stadiums, Partizan had something to be angry about, but also perhaps in that mood to look for an additional motive, spite for today’s duel which is different in everything because there is no remedy. If there is no winner after 90 minutes, penalties will decide the second passenger to the final. Today, coach Igor Duljaj can count on goalkeeper Aleksandar Jovanović, Mateus Saldanja again remained on the bench, and compared to the previous duel, Filipović is playing instead of Stojković.
On Saturday, Crvena Zvezda took the most important step towards defending their championship title. A new duel with black and white follows, different, no less strenuous and demanding. Milan Rodić had problems with a back injury, but still in the squad.
If we look only at the Serbian Cup (since 2006), Zvezdi is fighting for entry into the ninth final, and Partizan into the 12th final.
