Maccabi, in contact with the Belgrade police, has a special request concerning the audience

Maccabi achieved an important victory in the first game of the playoff series against Panathinaikos, winning in Athens with a score of 91:87. The second leg is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, and the Tel Aviv club has a special request regarding the continuation of the series.

Israeli media report that the team Kataš’s clothes wants to continue the series in Belgrade, and to make it even more spectacular, the club wants to increase the number of spectators in the Belgrade Arena.

According to Sports Vale information, Maccabi is in contact with the Belgrade police with the intention of increasing the number of allowed spectators from the current 300 to as many as 1,000.

It is planned that the next two matches will be played in Belgrade, on April 30 at 19:00 and on May 2 at 20:45.

As a reminder, Maccabi, except for the first match of the regular season, played all other home games in Belgrade, due to the war conflicts between Israel and Palestine.

On Tuesday, in the play-in game for the seventh place, Maccabi defeated Baskonia with a score of 113:85 and thus secured a play-off match against Panathinaikos. It was not easy for the Maccabi basketball players to come back after a 16-point deficit at halftime in the game with Red Star, as their coach Oded Katas pointed out. However, they managed to overcome all the difficulties and in the end celebrate with the score 84:80.
