Although the 173rd eternal derby was recently played between Zvezda and Partizan where the red and whites won 3:2, and while the dust surrounding this match has not settled, a new eternal derby is coming, but this time within the Serbian Cup.

The draw wanted Zvezda and Partizan to meet in the semi-finals, at Maracana, which will be the second match at this stadium in just four days.
The match between Zvezda and Partizan is on the program from 19:00, and the live broadcast is possible via the Arena sport 1 Premium channel.
What is particularly interesting is the fact that the bookmakers have no dilemma as to which of these two teams has a convincing advantage before the new clash. The odds that Red Star will celebrate is about 1.30, which has never been the case this season, and it was hardly similar in previous years.
The bookmakers set the odds at 4.80 for a draw, and even 7.55 for a black and white win! Whether that is realistic or not, today’s match will show, although in two out of three derbies this season, Igor Dulyaj’s men defied the bookmakers and managed to avoid defeats, even when they were written off in advance.
Let’s say, before the recent derby at “Maracana”, which was won by Red Star, the odds on the home team winning were around 1.45, but it was the last hours before the start of the match. Before that, the odds ranged from 1.55 to 1.65 at the most, but now the odds have never been more miserable, which means that the guests from Humska are given very little chance to make it to the finals.
Let’s remind you, the red and black and white have played three eternal derbies in the Serbian championship this season. The first was won by Partizan in Humska with 2:1, the second, played at “Marakana” ended with a score of 2:2, and the third, played last Saturday, also at the biggest Serbian stadium, was won by Crvena zvezda with 3:2.
