On the night between Wednesday and Thursday, two NBA playoff games were played. Miami beat Boston away 111:101 and tied the series at 1:1. Oklahoma defeated New Orleans 124:92 for the second time on its home field and took a 2:0 lead.

Miami threatens to become the black cat of the trophy franchise from Massachusetts. Twice in the last four seasons, Vrelina, as an underdog, has knocked out the Celtics, and the way this series has started, it could happen a third time.

The team from Florida, after a great fight and primarily thanks to a great defense in the second half, in which they only conceded 40 points, came to a big break. And to remind everyone without the biggest star, Jimmy Butler.

In his absence, the main roles were taken by Tyler Hiro, who was the most notable with 24 points and 14 assists, as well as Ben Adebayo with 21 points and 10 rebounds and Martin with 21 points as well. Of course, Butler’s “brother” Nikola Jović, who played an excellent game. In 25 minutes, he recorded 11 points (4/5 from the field, 3/4 from three), nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and a banana. On the other side, Brown was the most efficient with 33 points, Tatum added 28, both recorded eight rebounds.

The series now moves to Miami, where two matches are scheduled. The third is played on the night of Saturday to Sunday.

Oklahoma leads 2:0. The Thunder beat New Orleans in the second match as well, quite convincingly 124:92, and now the Pelicans are under enormous pressure before two meetings at home.

MVP candidate Gilges-Alexander led the winning team with 33 points, Holmgren had 26 with seven rebounds. On the other side, Valanciunas led the way with 19 points and seven rebounds.
