Convincing defeat of Novi Sad basketball players in Podgorica

Centers Vučetić and Nikolić successfully coped with Andđušić and Petrovi, but Vojvodina’s outside players almost never matched the actions and shots of the home team’s players. However, the score went to halftime with a favorable score of 46:47.

In the Vojvodina team, Vučetić was the only one who played the game well and with 13 points he was the most efficient player in the team. Everyone else, especially those from whom the most was expected, had shorter periods of solid, but also much longer periods of completely pale play.

Savić was unnoticed until the last quarter, captain Ljubičić was completely invisible, Rakičević was below average, much more was expected from both Cunningham and Johnson. In the Podgorica team, Kunt excelled with 26 points, point guard Slaj (10 points) showed how to lead the team superbly, while the centers Anđušić (16) and Petrov (17) were reliable, and the best exactly when they needed to be.

Defeat is high, but not unattainable. In essence, what we saw in the last match against Sautgeska was repeated: Vojvodina played a very good first half, but in the second they ran out of strength, lost their concentration.
