The Football Association of Serbia will open an investigation due to doubts about the regularity of another match of the First League of Serbia. The Disciplinary and Ethics Commission of the FSS will initiate a procedure, based on a report from UEFA, on the regularity of the 29th round match between Tekstilac and Mladost GAT (1:2).
As we learn, the case should be officially opened on Thursday afternoon.
From the European house of football, immediately after the match in Odzaci, a red signal arrived about a large number of payments for the victory of the visiting team. The quota dropped rapidly and reached a record low value on the eve of the match.
As the match later ended with the expected and “typed” outcome, UEFA forwarded the evidence to the Football Association of Serbia.
He dealt with the case in the first phase Bogdan Đurđević, since June last year, FSS integrity officer. Analyzing the complex aspects of the application, a trusted operative of the Serbian football club, “rearranged” the paper and sent the application to the Disciplinary and Ethics Commission.
The final decision, in the first instance, is expected in ten days.
The match, played in Odzaci on April 8, was decided in the second half. With goals Dragana Kokanović in the 48th i Miljan Vukadinović in the 56th minute, Mladost GAT paved the way to victory. The people of Odza reduced the deficit in the 68th minute, the scorer was 1:2 Ivan Davidović.
It turned out that it was the final result of the match, which will have a third half at the end of April, before the disciplinary body of the Serbian football club.
The sports club learns that the investigation will cover, mainly, Tekstilac football players. The club from Odžak is threatened with a financial penalty, or a penalty of six to 15 points, provided for the first information from UEFA.
Let us remind you that the FSS punished Radnički from Novi Beograd by deducting six points for violating the regularity in the match with Testilc last December. The match ended with a 5:0 victory for the hosts.
At that time, the Disciplinary and Ethics Commission of the FSS found only the football players of the visiting team.
